Friday Night Weather Discussion

Happy Friday, from your Southside Light Weather Team!

Daylight savings time begins this weekend. Don’t forget Sunday morning to Spring forward an hour! It is that time of year!

As far the night goes, you can expect that pesky sea fog to develop this evening and into the overnight hours in bays and nearshore waters. As we write this at about 9:15, there has not been a fog advisory issued as of yet. However, it would not surprise us to see one issued in the very near future. Most of the fog should burn off by midday tomorrow and we will likely see partly cloudy skies during the afternoon.

Temperatures tomorrow will reach the upper 70s to near 80. Just as we have been pointing out all week, we expect the rain to stay well to our north out over the far north Brush County. We are confident that the Laguna and Southside will likely stay dry on Saturday.

We are confident that the weekend will be fairly decent. Saturday and Sunday look pretty good. Monday and Tuesday look like the chances of rain return slightly, but still by far not a washout. But way, way, way out there in the hard to nail down Forecast is the possibility of a fairly strong cold front for this time next week. We will keep you updated!

Have a great weekend!
