Monday Weather Discussion

Good Evening, Southsiders! Hope you had a wonderful start to your week! The fog burned off by mid morning and things straightened right up, just as expected. As per our usual, you can bet on the fog to drift back in overnight just as it has been.

All is well on the forecast for our area for the most part. We are expecting anything significant for the Southside over the next 48 hours or so. The next real rain chances creep back in on Wednesday and Thursday, but for us here on the Southside we should stay mostly dry. We are just not confident in the solution that brings the storms that they will see in West Texas down to our little corner of the world. It just is not gearing up for storm development like some have mentioned. We are keeping a slight possibility of thunderstorms in our forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, but albeit slight.

There is a little blast of air colder air coming later in the week that is associated with a cold front. Temperatures will likely not get that cold, only into the 70s for highs and 60s for the lows. We should expect that by the weekend.

So for tomorrow, expect 83 for a high and when you wake up around 70. Skies will be cloudy to partly cloudy with our standard breeze.

Have a great Tuesday and we will talk at you Tuesday evening!

Take care, y’all!
