Southside Weather Discussion: Saturday
Good Evening from your Southside Light Weather Team. How was your first day of Spring Break 2019? Be sure to share your photos with us as you’re out and about enjoying this beautiful Spring weather.
The weather forecast has been running almost identical to what we here at the Light have been forecasting all week long. Foggy evenings with temperatures in the 60s. Tonight will be no different. In fact, the National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement regarding the fog development for our region as the moist air continues to file in.
The front that is pushing down will eventually stall out and work back north. That said, we are calling for light rain chances to creep back into the forecast for tomorrow. Overall, for Oso Bay, Southside, the Laguna and surrounding areas, we are confident that any rain that we see will be light and off and on. By far not a gully washer over our little area of the globe.
Looking ahead through Monday, we here at the light are going to run with the guidance that suggests limited rainfall amounts through Monday. We feel that the rain will likely stay to our north and east—well away from our area.
So, overnight look for lows in the lower 60s and highs tomorrow around 80. Monday, we see rain chances slightly increase for our direct area but far from a washout. It won’t be a pristine start to Spring Break, but it should be salvageable.
Remember, send us your pictures and stay safe! Jason will have your Fisherman’s forecast in the morning, so hang tight!
Have a great evening!
