Thursday Weather Discussion
Good Evening, from your local Southside Light Weather Center this is your Thursday night weather discussion.
How did you like that weather today? It was a amazing! We spent some of the day out on the Laguna visiting with folks and installing some weather sensors over off of Laguna Shores and even though the clouds blew in later, what a day it was!
Now, let’s take a look at our weather for the day. We reached a high of 68 today at our Southside reporting station along Saratoga. We are likely not going to get much colder than the mid 60s overnight. You will certainly notice the warmer temperatures as you are out and about the area tonight.
If you’re going to be out on the bays and nearshore waters tonight, expect a little sea fog to develop as we roll through the early morning hours.
What about this weekend? We here at sticking by our forecast that is going to call for minimal rain chance the entire weekend. It likely won’t be until early next week that we see much rain really develop and even then, we are sticking to total measurements of less than one inch here in our area.
We are not saying cancel your weekend plans or head indoors—far from it. Friday, Saturday and Sunday look great, being mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s. Sunday rain chances increase slightly and marginally go up from there, at least through Tuesday.
So tomorrow: Wake up in the mid 60s and climb to the mid 70s.
Saturday: Partly Cloudy, Highs 70s and lows in the mid 60s.
Sunday: Nominal rain chances. Highs in the 70s/60s for lows.
Monday into Tuesday: We will adjust accordingly, but rain chances do increase—albeit slightly.
Have a great Thursday night!
