Officials say that anymore rain could result in releases from Lake Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –The City of Corpus Christi along with area partners say that they are  continuing to monitor the weather very closely including the water levels of Lake Corpus Christi reservoir.  Lake Corpus Christi remains at 100% capacity and officials say that any additional rainfall could result in potential water releases from the Wesley Seale Dam.

City officials say that they want to keep the reservoir at 100% capacity while maintaining the integrity of the dam and minimizing flooding downstream along the Nueces River.
