Temporary Lane Closures on Everhart Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business owners beginningFriday, October 4, 2019utility contractors will be working on a project separate from the Everhart Road Project. The following traffic control plan will be implemented, weather permitting:
  • Northbound Everhart Road will be reduced to one lane beginning 400-feet north of Curtis Clark Drive and ending short of South Padre IslandDrive (SPID).
  • Temporary lane closures will begin at 9:00am daily and will be removed at the end of each work day, anticipated to be 6:00pm.
  • Temporary lane closures are estimated to last one week.
The City reminds drivers to use caution and slow down when driving through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays during construction.
