The monthly South Texas Economic Report showed positive news for Corpus Christi as both employment and new business growth continued to blossom under a solid local economy. August showed an even more positive rise on the employment front with the strongest job growth of the year so far ahead of seasonal hiring during the holidays. 

Over the course of the year, the manufacturing sector added some 500 jobs to the local economy which went right alongside the positive development at the Port of Corpus Christi. 

As far as home sales go the region saw improved sales transaction as it broke vital records over the quarter. 

This is a developing story.
