Corpus Christi -- County Commissioners will hold a COVID-19 workshop at tomorrow's Commissioner's Court meeting.
Commissioners are expected to consider items relating to the county's COVID-19 response, plans for testing, treatment and hospitalization options, as well as area economic recovery options for Nueces County.
One of the items expected to come up during that meeting is a mandatory face mask order, which could be implemented. Staff at the courthouse have told us that a vote on that measure could take place at tomorrows workshop.
Staff at the courthouse also told us that County Judge Canales originally had planned for an emergency meeting on Tuesday. However, that meeting was changed to a workshop style meeting and added to the commissioner's schedule for Wednesday.
